Surprisingly nice room, neat and clean. Could use a bit more room lighting, but it's not too dim. HVAC worked well, nice and cold on a hot day with a western view/sun. Very pleasant staff, helpful and professional. Fridge with limited storage area, sitting chair and footrest, and a desk. Comfortable beds. Okay bathroom. Room looks like it was more recently updated since the furniture and decor matches most updated Courtyards I've recently stayed.

The rooms were fine, we traveled 10 hours so we were tired. They told us we could have a roll away when we talked on the phone. Then when we got there they said they didn’t do roll a ways because of fire hazards. As the pictures show, they have a beautiful space for a breakfast bar but nothing on it. They have a small space with coffee and chocolate muffins. There is a mall right beside which is nice. Nothing healthy and no choices. Not many places for gas either so gas up!

Positive: Hotel and room was very clean and updated. Staff was very friendly each day I was there! Close to alot of restaurants and shopping places. Breakfast was not yet available due to covid 19 but that was okay for me. Negative: Nothing about this hotel I didn¿t like.

WARNING! Unsafe! I never ever write reviews. But the fact that the security is very poor is concerning. Just take caution staying here and maybe at any Marriott for that matter, if they are not worried about the security and safety of their customers. We have a truck tonneau cover that locks. We have been everywhere with it for years and have never had problems (Even big cities like Chicago! We were traveling from our son’s wedding in Ohio carrying back his wedding gifts. We stopped and checked in Courtyard by Marriott Topeka, 2033 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66604 at about 11 pm. They told us to park at the side exit , right next to the door. When we went out the next morning, we found the tonneau cover had been pried open, the lock completed broke and the gifts stolen. Our suite case was opened and rummaged through. We talked to the front desk and assistant manager and begged for them to call the police department so we could file an insurance report. They were a little put out that we asked them to do that. (We’re not from there.. so we were just begging for a little help.) They couldn’t get a hold of anyone and they left a message. They said they DON’T have security cameras (yikes! What if one of their customers were assaulted!) and since they don’t charge for parking they are not held liable. I get it, we don’t expect them to pay for anything but unfortunately they were not very kind and very indifferent to our situation.

Yes it does, but you need to request it when you make your reservation.
Credit card to reserve room, but can pay in cash at end of stay. However, the CC may get charged of there is any damage in the room.
