I placed an online order for carryout and asked for the pizzas to be ready in an hour from the time I placed the order. I never received a confirmation email, so I called a bit after placing the order to confirm that the restaurant had received my order. They confirmed my order after speaking with an employee. I arrived to pick up my order and I was told that my order wasn't ready, not only was my order not ready, my order wasn't even in the process of being made. I double checked my pick-up time and sure enough it was 5 minutes passed from the time I had asked to have my order ready. I had a small window to have my order ready, and all the employee stated was that they had a lot of orders that needed to be ready at the same time. Which I responded, if you knew that you had all these orders to complete at the same time, why not inform the customers that you know you have no chance of having their orders ready on time that you will be late. At the end I was just issued a refund and I didn't even receive an apology. I understand that things happen, but what doesn't make sense is why you wouldn't pick up the phone and let your customers know that their order won't be ready at the time requested. Especially the online orders. I don't plan on ordering from this restaurant any time soon. Their inability to multi-task and have some common curiosity has persuaded me to go elsewhere from now on.
