Usually happy with food & service at this go-to spot. This time I ordered, as an upcharge, my favorite chocolate-chocolate chip pancakes with my meal. When I discovered they were missing the chips inside, the server argued that they WERE inside. I had to split them open and prove her wrong before she returned them to the kitchen for a re-make. (They had whipped cream and 6 chips on top.) Second time was the charm. They were perfect. I was in the restaurant business, as a server then a private club manager, for 23yrs and the customer is always right! The rest of the food was as delicious as expected. Didn't like that the server argued with me, or that the cook tried to cheat me out of the ingredients I was paying $4.99 for.

The first 2 visits the food was good, so on the 3rd visit I ordered t bone steak with scrambled eggs and pancakes and the t bone I ordered wasn’t a t bone steak it was a pork steak( a pork chop) even they kept saying it was a t bone, it tasted like a pork chop and it looked like a pork chop and the scrambled eggs were over cooked and burned. They served me 3 pancakes on a tiny plate, how do I suppose to put syrup on them without the syrup falling over to the table? They tried to make it right by giving me a chicken fried steak and it tasted gross too. It was 12.00 dollars less and they still tried to charge me for the t bone steak meal. Very classless place deceiving people with food that ain’t what I ordered.They tell you their out of several menu items!
