We visited Spring Valley Baptist Church today while visiting in the local area. We found the church as a result of the Google Reviews and Rating associated with the church. We're glad we came. The preaching was phenomenal and a breath of fresh air. It was bible-based but also very applicable to helping us as Christians understand how to approach our every day lives. The people in the church were very friendly and kind, from the greeter to the Associate Pastor to members who noticed we were visiting. We definitely hope to visit again in the future when we're back in town.

Hi Ryan, At Spring Valley Baptist, we follow the biblical model for baptisms. We believe baptism is an outward expression of what God has done in our heart. When a person confesses sin and repents, putting their faith and trust in Jesus the Messiah, he/she is born again and the next step is water baptism. Because babies are not capable of making that type of confession, we do not water baptize babies. What we do instead is, like Jesus was dedicated in the temple as a baby, we dedicate babies, meaning we pray for mom and dad with our church family to raise that child in a Christ honoring way. The church doesn't have shows. We have activities for the youth classes to illustrate things in the bible.
We have a great Spanish church fellowship that meets at our location at noon. Faro de Luz is their name. If you are looking for a church home, we know they would love to have you. You can find them on Facebook.
We only do weddings for those associated with our fellowship. If you’d like to talk to one of our pastors about this please call the office. Thanks!
