My favorite corner store in a Comanche! Cameron is the best employee IMO. All of the employees are good but he’s awesome! They sell beer and wine. The breakfast burritos are sooo good with homemade tortillas and fresh salsa bar. Clean restrooms/decent prices/good tobacco selection. Easy in and out with a huge gas lot with 4 entrances/exits. Diesel pumps separate for 18 wheelers. And diesel for regular autos at the regular pumps. Air and water, propane exchange, and a red box outside. A great corner store!

Only stopped to get gas, some bottled water, and use the restrooms. The men's room was very dirty - trash needed emptying, floor needed mopping, toilets needed cleaning, counters needed wiping. My wife said the women's room was disgusting. I told the assistant manager as I was leaving that the men's room needed attention, and he rolled his eyes. I won't be stopping here again.

I travel for my job and Comanche is usually the halfway point between Huntsville and Abilene or in this case Brownfield, Texas. As myself and my coworker normally do, we stopped at the stripes to use the restroom and get something to eat or drink. On Wednesday,March 28, between 12:15 and 12:30pm, we stopped for those reasons. I ordered from the young lady that was serving plates a fish taco plate as I have not had them before (and still haven't). Due to not being tall she could not quite reach the fish tacos with the spatula that was present, so she reach forward pull the whole pan of tacos closer to her so that she could reach them. Instead of using the spatula that was in the pan this entire time, she started taking the tacos out of the pan and putting them on my styrofoam plate by hand. I told her I did not want to eat those if she was going to take them out of the pan with her hand and put them on the plate but she continued anyway. After putting the tacos on the plate she asked me what else I wanted, I told her I did not want the food. I did however talk to the general manager Miss Kay at which time she told me that they are allowed to touch the food if they have gloves on. I explained to Miss Kay I was not complaining that the server went to the back throwing away some dirty towels came back and didn't change her gloves however, I was complaining that she touch my food with those same dirty gloves. Miss Kay tried to explain to me again that they are allowed to touch food even with the gloves. I told her that this is what I do as part of my job which is to inspect kitchens. Instead of actually handling the situation, Miss Kay nonchalantly told the employee to use the utensils if that's what the customers want. It at was disrespectful that she did not try to fix the situation. I would have been happy to purchase the food if she would have retrained the employee on food handling and then had her get me some more tacos after washing her hands, changing her gloves, and using the spatula or even some tongs if she's having a problem reaching the food but she did not Miss Kay was very dismissive about the entire situation. I'm very unsatisfied with the way I was treated. I will be finding a new halfway stop as I was treated unfairly and I have to assume that there are other Sanitation and food handling issues in this kitchen. And yes, those same four tacos were put back on the line by hand to be served to the next customer. Must not be trained in ServSafe.

Do not eat here, worst tacos ever, usually Laredo Taco is good, but this place sucks. Brain donor behind the counter gave us half the order then got mad because he couldn’t read his own hand writing, and the other old bitty back there had no interest in helping anyone. I think they were coming down on some kind of drugs and needed another dose. I literally spit out my food and regretted not making myself puke all day, and my wife is in the bathroom now and it don’t sound good.
