Please keep in mind this adventure is only for children five and under my grandbabies are 8, 10 and 11 we all enjoyed the SHORT train ride but the loading process took too long and the pumpkin destination was a joke (boring) save your money go to a real farm !

Super cute place to do a photoshoot!

10/23/22 My experience & by the look on many other faces weren’t happy with what was offered. Definitely scammed a lot of families. It’s so sad to see such a cool idea go to waste. The route wasn’t scenic & very short. The “pumpkin patch” was a soccer field with 1 bounce house, balloon animals, face paint, & a small maize, little game display, & a couple food booths that only accepted cash. We made the most out of what we could. I hope people find these reviews before purchasing tickets.

Was extremely disappointed in the Pumpkin Patch Express. $80 for three of us just to board the train and get dropped off at a soccer field (not a pumpkin patch) to pick out a tiny pumpkin. Then more waiting in line to pay extra for overpriced (and not very good) food. No place to sit so we had to eat standing up. Not really any activities for kids to do. The ride was underwhelming and not scenic at all. Will not be returning.

You can park across the street from the actual railroad if you get there early enough the parking lot is normally empty.

Most holiday events on this train are very busy with frequent long lines. I would recommend their dinner train. These cars are historical so seats are very close together and face each other. If you go with a group of 4 people you’d have your own area to focus on to distract from the train full of cars.
Yes. Check out the schedule on their website to see when the next one is.
If you go to their webpage, click on the three lines on the top right of the page and the different rides are all listed under Schedules and Fairs.
I'm not positive, as far as I know they do not. I don't remmeber seeing anybody with American girl dolls or seeing anything like that on the sign. However they very well could! Like Mike said I would just call and ask! :)
No limit I know of.
The LM&M didn't begin operating until 1986. A good place to start learning about railroad history in Cincinnati would be to contact the Cincinnati Railroad Club or the Cincinnati Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society. A railroad you might be referring to is the L&N which is the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. That company was in business back in 1952.
No. It is about an hour and a half ride. It goes up the track them comes back, on the same track.
Yes. We can look up your order by last name.
At the box office... you have two counters. One to purchase tickets and one to to redeem purchased tickets get passports. If you are already purchased online head to second counter and pick your passports. The passports are kind of an activity for kids to collect stamps at event site. Yes on the day of the ride you collect the tickets
Its always good to check there website for upcoming events..
The train travels 9 miles round-trip at 10mph departing from Lebanon. It is an old train built in 1930. It's fun to do once. The basic train is $10. Special events cost more. Check the website. The place is under new management and things have changed in recent years.
It isn't a Japanese bullet train. Travels slowly so you can enjoy the views and allows for a relaxing time to talk.
Had a great time kids loved it but they are young 2 and 3 may not be exciting enough for older kids
$15 for adults $12 kids or you can rent the whole caboose for $200 for an hour ride.
You can buy tickets at the window. But depending on the popularity of a ride, you risk showing up and the train being full. I recommend buying a VISA card at Kroger's (you get fuel points!) and using that. Have fun!
