They take forever to sit you down they literally walk by you as you stand there waiting to be seated they also take forever with the food but it's delicious so it's worth waiting for I just wouldn't eat at the restaurant they have poor customer service skills

I'm from originally from southern California. Mexican food is normally a hit and miss in Florida. However, the Mega Mercado brings me back to home. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. Fresh tortilla chips and salsa are brought to your table when you arrive. And you can order a number of different aguas frescas / beverages. I usually order tacos de carne asada but I have tried the tortas, sopes, chimichanga, tostadas, campechana, tacos birria, flautas, menudo, etc. Needless to say this place does not disappoint. I have read ppl complain about the service but I've never had issues. If you come during the rush hour, expect to wait.....but it's worth it.

Literally the best Mexican place in the world. Best tacos ever and best pastries ever. I just wished I knew how to speak Spanish so I could fit in more but I love the feel of the place

Mega Mercado is one of my favorite restaurants in Lakeland. The food is always on point and the portions are on the edge of extreme. Their chips are pretty much the best around. If I can give you any advice, it would be to not go hungry. If you arrive hungry, you’ll be reaching hangry status before you get your food. It’s a super busy place and it’s very much organized chaos. I’ve come to expect this so it doesn’t bother me. The end result makes it all worth it so definitely give Mega Mercado a try!
