Staff was friendly and establishment was clean to include the men's bathroom. Long bar area reminds me of show Cheers. Lol It's a nice place to hang out and enjoy conversations and watch sporting events as a TV can be seen from every chair. Outside sitting area is great to catch breeze off water. Lemonade Cake was definitely a new thing but it was great. Will return for cigar night as well. Keep up the great work. Will spread word as a must visit just like I was told. Food and drinks were great even on tap they have a good selection.

Me and my husband sat at the bar and ordered a drink. The water we received did not taste like water, it tasted as if the previous drink was not washed out of the glass. We wanted to order something to eat eventually but in the mean time visit with one another. During that time I watched a waitress eating at the end of the bar, then proceed to wipe her hands on her shirt as she went to get someone a drink. On top of that as far as pouring a beer on tap goes, it doesn’t seem they have any knowledge on how to do that properly. I would never recommend.

Dine in on a fairly busy Friday evening. Picked this place as it was listed as dog friendly and seated ourselves on the patio. Staff were really friendly and the place feels quite welcoming, if not more of a locals vibe. We weren't drinking, which was a mistake as I feel like all the food offerings are more of a complement after you've sunk a few. Fish and chips were ok, with a generous portion of fries but had an overly fishy taste. Irish coddle was hearty but made with chicken that was somehow dry. Overall would go back to drink, but probably not for the food.

Questions & Answers

I've seen on some of the hours posted... "Boxing day" what is this about? Are they showing a ac fight? Is there a cover?

Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, when traditionally you would give small gifts (boxes) to your service people. This would be, for example, your mail carrier, the paperboy or -girl, etc. This is a tradition in the UK, and, I suppose, Ireland. I have no idea about what this pub was doing for Boxing Day.
