Clean and well-maintained. Deer frequently graze in the woods and fields next to the park and get close sometimes.

The park itself is nice but not friendly to people who are from out of town. If you donβt have a key fob youβre not welcomed to come in. The regulars will actively avoid you and look at you with disgust. As far as the official website, If you have a dog who is not neutered he is not welcomed, your application will be denied. Make sure your pets are up to date with all their shots. Hope this helps π

Went several times and both sides were big dogs I thought there was a side for small dogs?

It's a good dog park. Would be nice to have a dog station inside the gates, and water station. I like that all dogs have to have their shots to go in. And the key fob entry, except when it breaks down. We have met some great dogs and humans.

This is a great place for good dogs and owners. I know it seems like a hassle but I find it nice to know all the dogs are current on their shots. No toys are allowed or little kids. My dog loves playing with other dogs but doesn't like little kids, or sharing toys. It's also nice that if any issues come up, say a fight or not cleaning up after fido, they look into it question people and make a decision on what is to be done.
I think its due to other dogs being in park as well. Their loose off their leashes so they can run around. So in case they get fresh with each other. No one get pregnant!
Allentown residents are free and non residents is $25 for the key fob
You have to apply for a key through the city. Once you fill out all the paperwork you can pickup the key.
