We held my father's funeral recently and we can't thank the entire staff for all they did to make it a special time for all of us to remember forever !

My great grandparents, grandparents, parents and many other family members are retired at Paxtang Cemetery. The new management has brought so much to the cemetery. I recently availed the use of the pet cemetery for my beloved cat and they made this very sad experience so much easier and it is such a comfort to know she is in a place that I can visit and know that she is rested peaceful. Thanks so much to Alesia and Derek...we love you!

Hi Patty there are over 12 different options in our Serenity Garden for loved ones that have been cremated. They start at $250 and go to $3600. Your best option is to stop in or call 7175642110. Ask for Renate. She will be happy to help you explore your options.

Are you a green cementery? Do you allow burial pods? Tree?

We are a green cemetery - We call it The Wood's Edge. We have over 12 acres dedicated to green burials. In this area there are no vaults, no metal caskets, all biodegradable burial containers only (shrouds of silk or linen, caskets made of wicker, wool, bamboo or untreated wood (no metals or synthetic fabrics), no embalming. On top of every burial we plant the PA native forest on you (trees, shrubs and ground cover - you can select your plot based on what is actually being planted there). Love the burial pod idea but the truth is that actually doesn't exist. The website that touts that pod in question is a concept only. Even thought about trying to produce the pod myself but after speaking to many morticians I discovered why it wouldn't work due to the rigor of what happens to a person's body after death. We do however offer all the other burial containers above.
