Switched to Mavis from another local chain shop after a bad experience. In for service and was told there was a bad wheel bearing that I did not feel or hear. This raised red flags, but had them do the work. The price was not bad, and guess what, I had a wheel bearing that was actually going bad! Maybe I can trust these guys.

I went to Mavis in Cobleskill, NY this morning after getting off the highway last night, due to a loud noise coming from under my car. These guys did not skip a beat. They took it right in, checked it out and gave me an estimate at no charge. They also told me it would be safe to drive home to SC for now w/o the work, which is why I was there to begin with . I am so grateful for Mark and his team! Above and beyond!!! (Photo -taken in NYC- so they remember what car it was)

I have to say beyond a doubt one of the best places to go. Desi actually goes out to your car checks everything over and will be completely fair and honest. I came in for a tire if he did not look it over for free I had a bubble that could of blown and crashed my car. Thank God they go over and beyond to help even before they get your business.

Depending on if the tire was purchased there with a road warranty. If you didn't, it's pretty cheap to have it plugged if that's the case. As long as you don't have bald tires
