I may update this rating as time progresses, but right now, this has been a lousy company to work with. Repeated changes in "oh you have to start digging and we can get it scheduled" and then "well you need to get a transformer pole and easement off that" and then... "We're too busy, so you have to have everything dead perfect and cleared to this other pole before we'll even schedule work" and FINALLY after lots of headache, get an amount then to have to bounce around for another day. "Yeah you just have to do X to pay your bill" where it turns out "X" doesn't work if you're not ultra careful - their phone payment system is HORRIBLE. Website is the only way that so far has been decent to interact with - which figures since it's something they've outsourced. I've been less and less impressed with these guys. NOW the good. They have fiber they're running everywhere. Their home efficiency guy on insulation, ground source systems, etc. is one sharp guy and excellent to work with. Hopefully there'll be more good to report as time goes on.

I've had to use Callaway Electric CoOp as a default due to lack of options in the area. My experience they are scam artists, excess fees, being charged multiple times for the same month(confirmed by my bank!), charged after services were terminated. Customer service is also garbage, typical run around "we're not going to solve this problem" nonsense you should expect from a company like this.

Specifically for my account they have charged twice and “refunded” once through the app and say it hasnt gone through, it has gone through my banking app once and there is no refund but they act as if they refunded the original payment which they havent. Not only that our usage doubles randomly and we arent home for most of the day as everyone is at work. Basically they charge twice and say they refund once and don't and they register it as being entirely refunded when the bank has only one withdraw from it and no refunds, this has happened more than once and im am finding them to be ridiculous. I am sick and tired of being over charged all the tome.

That same day
Depending on where the power break happens could be anywhere from 20min to a couple hours. Usually they are pretty fast about getting it fixed given its not a huge ordeal like a power line broken
Yes they do just leave it in an envelope with ur bill statement and a money order or check, no cash....just a suggestion.
