So they came out to fix my pool. They didn’t fix it. They broke my motor by leaving it on with no water in the pool. Now they are trying to make us pay when they did absolutely nothing. I went with another company and they did a great job.

We recently bought a home that came with a hot tub. I have never owned one and had no idea what to do. Many of my friends told me to go to Columbia Pool & Spa. I'm glad I did! The staff hooked me up with what I needed and explained in detail how to use the chemicals. I was very pleased with my visit!

You'll have to call them, i don't work there.

Can I add a clarifier?

Joan Snodgrass | Oct 26, 2018

Yes, but what is recommended is for only Baquacil brand water clarifier or flocculant to be used.

After opening the pool using the Baquacil system, the water turned cloudy by next morning. cleaned filter and vacuumed. Tested and found that ph and alkalinity were very low. Added ph increaser. Pump running continulously. pool still very cloudy

Hi Joan, continue monitoring the filter with regular cleaning /backwashing if sandfilter. The oxidizer can drop ph and total alkalinity and while not typical on a week to week basis, could cause some clouding as it oxidizes particulate material in the water. Double check oxidizer level and top off if lower than ideal. If the cloudiness persists try to take a photo to bring by with a water sample Tuesday, and we will review what might be going on then provide further steps for clarifying the water.

I lost the plastic sample bottle. Can I bring water sample in another container?

Yes please bring at least 8-12 ozs.

If I bring in a water sample can you analyze it and tell ke what chemical to get to take out the green algae?
