We live in MO and everytime we come to visit family, we love coming to this park!!!!! 50 cent train rides, 5 cent carousel rides, $2 putt putt and some of the best playground equipment!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great place to take the family for a day outing. There's a small zoo, a large park, a merry go round, and a miniature train you can ride for a very small fee. I believe the train was .50 a ride and the merry go round was .05 a ride. There is also a fun little 18 hole miniature golf course that is $2 a game and is loads of fun. This is one of my favorite places that is nearby to take the family.

Yes
From my understanding the mule is only temporarily in that location while they finish the new exhibit theve been working on
Not inside the zoo with the animals but around the park is fine. Signs at entrance state no dogs in the zoo.

No miniature golf when I was there either. And the carousel was closed down also
You can drive through the back part for the larger animals and then you can drive up to the back side for the birds and monkey area but for the main Zoo you know you have to walk it they do allow Wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs and strollers if need be! But if you have any other questions just call Independence Zoo. They may provide other options!
It should all be wheelchair accessible!
Monkeys, exotic birds, a donkey, swans, ducks, peacock, snakes. And possibly others they could have added. The first monkey sent into space came from this zoo. Enjoy!
There is also a bald eagle and on a nearby drive they have elk buffalo and reindeer.
It's nice place
The rides range from about 10 cents to a quarter. Golf 1$ everything else is free
It closed at 5 pm today
The weather plays a big role in determining which animals are on display. If its very cold or hot do not expect to see very many.
