Thee Awesomest
My mom was a visitor and one of the nurses that worked there asked why my mom was in the room with my dad if she isn't a nurse. What kind of behavior is this? She is so lucky that my parents are nice and doesn't speak English well. We called to ask if my mom can bring food and sleep over with my dad and they said yes. Their security guard was rude and wouldn't let my mom in. The nurse in charge wouldn't talk to my mom or explain. No one called us that she couldn't sleep after making another decision. Really really bad customer service. One star for my dad's nurses who were really nice and understandable. Update: Security guard is J. Graupe. He's been really rude.

If I could I’d give them a negative number. They gave me the worst possible care in an ICU, no less, for 6 weeks. I know this because I’m an RN and I’ve looked into my chart during my stay. I was intubated on a ventilator for 6 weeks, not switched to a tracheostomy at 3 weeks which is the standard. Therefore I continually kept getting infections from the endotracheal tube, adding to the Covid pneumonia in my lungs. They felt I would be a “vegetable” when I woke up and told my husband it was time to pull the plug on me. Thankfully my husband told them no and begged for more time and they gave him 7 days. God blessed us and I awoke on the 7th day, not a vegetable. They very quickly discharged me to another hospital within 2 days. I have spoken with them and they say they have discussed my case with those involved as I have asked that this NEVER happen to another patient again. Please, don’t send your loved one to this place.

Hate having to go here, but been there twice in the last year for surgery. Every one there is so over the top nice, makes it so comfortable. Loved it, keep up the great work.

They actually listen to people and staff are great

I didn't have that experience there, at all, but I haven't been there for ten years. Children's , right next door, was great, not perfect -- we did have one disconnect, about a year ago. Sorry your experience was so awful, like going to the ER is fun from the start. They do accept (pursue) direct feedback. I would call them and see if you can document your complaint in detail so they can use it for improvement.
No, there is no Urgent Care on the Abbott campus. Several nearby communities have Allina Urgent Care clinics including West Health in Plymouth.
You can eat in the Midtown Global Market but not many convenience stores in the immediate vicinity.
Teen age medical service...TAMS
The closest hotel is Sheraton Midtown which has a shuttle to hospital and is also accessible thru a skyway system about two blocks long.
You should have a Covid test 3 days before the procedure so you will have time to get the results and make arrangements to postpone if needed
You'd have to talk with your provider to see if that's an option there.
ANW has over 600 beds.
Coming from the south, you can exit on 28th Ave. There is some construction but the exit and road are open to Abbott. Depending what area from the south you could also take Cedar/77 all the way to 26th Ave and go west from there.
Hi Aditya. To find a doctor at our hospital, please call 1-800-877-7878.

ABBOTT SPINE CENTER
I am pretty sure they will allow one person to stay with there patient. Abbott nurses are the best to help patients and their families.
Have to no can I catch you no longer want to just can't trust you're welcome to come over and know that's why I'm 6
Not the same places, North Memorial is in Robbinsdale off Hwy 100. Abbott does a lot of hearts but not big trauma center. Also check Hennepin County Medical Center. Good luck.
Not sure, they are posted in obvious spots at the entrances to the ramps and at the pay machines. The pay machines take cash and credit cards. Not what I would consider cheap.
If that patient is a danger to their self they can. But in most cases no but you have to sign a release.
Yes there is free parking on the side streets. Sometimes you can get lucky and find parking spots on 26th Street there by the park and just before you get to Chicago Avenue
Sabrina when by only jermey car I want be dad help me only want f
They can on request.
No
I have no idea I don't work there
I think you have to go over to the birth wing on 26th Street that's where you go it's on the right side just before you get to Chicago Avenue I'm pretty sure if you go up there somebody will be able to help
Go elsewhere they dont care.
Uber would be best, you'll pay a ton for a taxi at the airport. To save money,,,you can take LIGHT RAIL, BLUE LINE, to downtown Minneapolis then order an UBER. Should save you about $25-35 that way. You could also get off at an earlier stop, but depending on what time you arrive, some of the stations off of Hiawatha can be sketchy, especially if you are alone, with baggage
