I have had connections with this church since I was a child. what that means for you the observer is that I'm speaking from a 40-year perspective. This church has been a pillar in the community for many many decades. When people are looking for a church I have observed that they are generally looking for a couple of things. 1. What do they believe 2. Are the people genuine and welcoming who attend there. This is a Bible believing Church. This is a Bible preaching Church. If it's talked about in Scripture it is preached about from the platform. You can easily Google search the Church of the Nazarene and read about their statement of faith, etc. In a nutshell though, each of us is born with a need for personal relationship with Jesus. Nothing in life will make sense or have meaning until you yield to the lordship of Jesus in your life. Secondly, and very importantly, the church believes that it is possible to grow in your relationship with Christ and to be empowered to live above sin, that the holy Spirit Will guide, comfort, and give the power to make decisions that are proper and correct for Holy living. As for the people, the genuineness, the warmth, the reality of people who have been transformed by Christ is evident in this place. You will be welcomed, you will hear life transforming illustrations and preaching from the Bible.
