The Shelter has always been helpful when in need

We adopted our kitten from here and the people were super sweet and you could tell the animals were well taken care of! Will definitely come back in the future!

There wasn't many animals when we visited but that's a good thing! Staff very friendly! We love visiting the shelters! This giant fat kitty was the sweetest and made our visit worthwhile!

I went in to just play with some of the dogs here let them spread their legs and I fell hard for the shy little boy. Ollie is now the most playful loving boy. He's living his best life by my son's side and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for giving us a part of our family we didn't even know was missing. You guys were so sweet to him and in turn he was able to trust us when you handed him over.

They should hsve room for a kitten, there is a place to drop off stray or otherwise animals there!
The average cost is $50. Sometimes they have to many animals and they will give you a discount so they will lower the price.
The shelter does not provide veterinarian work for the public. They do have several brochures and informational papers about low cost spay and neuter options in the Mid Missouri area.
They posted today (8/22/22) on their facebook page that he's still there. 🙂
Both actually ranges from young to seniors
Call them and ask
I believe there are 2 outdoor kennels you can leave them in, but you must call the phone number on the kennels so they know there is someone in them.
$50 to $100 depending on the animal
Call the animal shelter and ask for a group called Wild Things. They will come get the kitten. Ask for Jackie or Jenny
It is not a no kill shelter. But they try hard to place the animals
You should put this in the News paper.
You can still let the shelter know about the dog so if someone surrenders it they will have your information.
Buy A Cat House And A Water And Food Bowl. Close Off Area With A Board Or Something To Close Area Off
Animal control can and will pick them up. Since they are not feral cats they have a better chance of getting adopted out. You can also reach out to People Helping Paws they are an animal rescue here in Jeff City. You can find them on FB. They will find good homes for them. Good luck.
I would call and see if they have any available at their facility or in their puppies for parole program. We got a dog through there and it was amazingly like a puppy graduated with honors. Worst part was bringing him home and leaving his trainer alone without him.
You would have to call and make sure they are accepting surrenders. If it was a stray I believe they would take it right away. If it is your pet, there might be a waiting period.
I would either call the shelter and ask, check their website or Facebook page, or just stop by and look.
Just call they respond promptly!!
