I’ve tried many yoga studios in this area. Foss is the best yoga studio I’ve been to and I’ve been doing yoga about 10 years. The vibe is low-key. Instructors and staff and students are all very friendly. There is a no judgment atmosphere and the vibe is just perfect! Very clean studio also .I consider at my home away from home!

Love this yoga studio and all the teachers! Variety of classes and timings to choose from, I totally love the vibe here. This studio also has red light therapy. I highly recommend this studio to anybody who wants to learn yoga or has been practicing yoga and wants to deepen their practice. Absolutely love to be a part of this community!

Is Foss Yoga a chain?

Nah. We out here living and dreaming in the same community you are. Your dollars stay local at Foss Yoga. We're feisty little competitors determined to provide a happy safe space for you with top-quality classes and facilities. Thanks for supporting small and living local with us!

What's the class capacity?

Foss Yoga Studio & Wellness | Oct 11, 2022

Class capacity is 18 for Restore 75, Dream 60, and Yin 60. Class capacity is 28 for Power 60, Flow 60, Sculpt 45, Gentle 60, Core 30, and Strength 45. Early morning weekday classes usually have 8-12 students, daytime classes 10-18, and evening classes 12-20. Weekend classes vary. Please be happy for us when classes sell out! It's not easy being an independent little yoga studio in a world dominated by huge gyms & corporate fitness. We NEED full classes to survive. The studio is equipped with medical-grade HEPA-14 air purifiers and we change our double-filtration HVAC filters every 3 weeks.

Do I need a reservation for class?

It's a great idea. Some of our classes are super duper busy (yay!!) and some a little less so. If you're planning to come to a weekday evening class or weekend morning class, make a reservation. Without a reservation, space is first-come, first-serve. You can reserve your class through our website, app (search Foss Yoga), or via the MindBody app. Class cancellation window is 4 hours prior to class start time. If you no-show for class or late-cancel less than 4 hour before class start time, the class will still be deducted from your class pack or membership.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in! There's no shoes in the studio, we like to keep the feet nice and free. Leggings and tank tops are pretty common yoga attire. I myself teach in short sleeve shirts frequently. If you're in the market for some fit-spiration, ask your teacher for their favorite brands, I know they'd be happy to share. If you come to a hot class, expect to sweat a lot. Don't feel self conscious about sweat marks-- it's a badge of honor. You'll see me at the front completely soaked with sweat 100% of the time. And one more thing-- don't feel like you need expensive workout clothes to belong here. It ain't like that.

What should I bring with me to my very first yoga class?

Amazing question. Couldn't have asked it better myself. If you have a yoga mat, bring it with you. If you don't, you can rent one at the studio for $5! Dare we say our rental mats are the best in town? All grip, no slip. Other than your mat, a water bottle is a good idea. We have a water fountain and we also sell Evian for $2 at the front desk.
