Friendly staff, clean lobby and public restroom. Our hotel room smelled like B.O when we arrived, and hit us in the face again when returning from breakfast, but the room appeared clean, and beds were comfortable. Large breakfast selection. Nice indoor salt-water pool, but smelled strongly of chemicals, and burned our eyes. We enjoyed dining at "Pizza Inn" across the street. Not much else was open for dining, around the area.

Located off the highway. Front desk staff was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good.

I had no idea that they wouldn't rent rooms to locals? I would think they would have mentioned that when we called before we came over. See we live in Galax and explained to them that we only needed the room for one night while the construction on our home was finished up. We were paying with our card. Oh well their monetary loss.

Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The beds, pillows and sheets were wonderful. That and the good breakfast made us feel like we got our money's worth.
