An absolute gem right here in the middle of Albuquerque. Both paved and unpaved bike and walking paths galore. Plenty of flora and fauna, and an amazing sandy beach on the river. Mysterious winding paths and cool shade in the summer. A lifesaver! My dogs love it!

There is SO much to see in this hidden gem of Albuquerque! Cool, shady, quiet, and educational.

if you park on Santa Fe Ave on the North side of the river, West of 10th, by the zoo, there's a walking bridge that will take you to a paved trail, and if you want to go to the river, there's an entrance to the wooded area that's next to the river. great for dogs, kids, and bike riders, the trail has many smaller trails to the beach and some right on the edge of the river. Santa Fe is just where I parked, but if you look at the map, there's many roads on both sides of the river for miles, that you can park on, and there's a lot of access points to the trail. good luck! 👍
