I called this place 3 times after getting approved for an apartment, i was told they would call me back at the end of the day all 3 times and I still have not heard back from anyone! Extremely unprofessional

I left a 5-star review when I moved in 11 months ago. I just moved out recently and wish to share my honest opinion. My overall experience is positive and I would recommend this to my friends, but I will also make sure they know the downsides as well. Cons: 1. The apartments are relatively old. The heavy rain last year flooded many old houses in Dearborn, including many basements in Fairlane East. Besides, the wooden floor is not that sound proof. I lived in the first floor and I knew exactly when my upstairs neighbor went to bed every night. 2. The maintenance team is not that responsive. It seems pretty expensive to hire experienced handyman. Given they are always short-handed, be prepared for a longer waiting time to get your problem fixed. Pros: 1. The neighborhood is friendly and the view is super! Many residents enjoy talking a walk around the pond in the summer and fall. These houses were built with a high standard for Ford managers 50 years ago. It is still a wonderful place to live in. 2. The applicant review procedure is rigorous and selective. As a result, the place is pretty safe. You sometimes see people walking outside even after sunset. 3. The management team is really good. They care about their tenants, not just making money from you. My upstairs neighbor used to play music loud late at night. The management team actively worked with me to get that problem fixed. 4. The rent is reasonable. It is not very cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Would not recommend! I got approved for an apartment and went to see it a couple days before move in ,the apartment was a mess and rushed through and not what i was told i would get especially for the price👎🏽. The manager Melissa said she would refund me for the app fee & the admin fee $300 within a month. It’s been 4 months and i still haven’t received it!
