Great place for a massage! Wish I was able to go back!

Amazing massage, Katherine is really cool and knows a lot about how to reduce muscle tension and ways I can improve posture. I am definitely coming back!

I purchased a massage for my husband who had been having back/neck pain and muscle strain for a long time. He came back rejuvenated, relaxed and smelled *amazing* from the CBD therapeutic oils! He said he hadn’t felt so much relief in his neck and shoulders for so long — the work done was targeted to his issues, and she gave him great tips to avoid developing tension in those areas again. Suffice to say, both he and I will definitely be coming back here again! :)

So happy I have found this space! Katherine was excellent. Attentive, caring, focused and very experienced therapist. Felt like I was taken care of the entire time, and very personalized experience.

A relaxing Swedish massage is often a baseline for clients. In a general Swedish massage, your session may start with broad, flowing strokes that will help calm your nervous system and relax exterior muscle tension. As your body becomes relaxed, pressure will gradually be increased to relax specific areas and relieve areas of muscular tension. Often, a light oil or lotion is used to allow your muscles to be massaged without causing excessive friction to the skin. The oil also helps hydrate your skin. You should communicate immediately if you feel any discomfort so that another approach may be taken. Massage and bodywork are most effective when your body is not resisting.
Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort.
Everybody responds differently to stress and heals differently after an injury. Generally speaking if you have not created a self-care routine, I would suggest 4-6 visits over an 8 week period. Then reassess to see what your goals are and how to get you there or maintain it.
