I have gone to this salon before but this time when I visited they were very unprofessional. First of all, they shampooed my hair twice. The first time, the woman massaged my head for at least two minutes to the point where my scalp was getting sore. The second time that she shampooed my hair, it was for at least one minute and my scalp was already in pain from the previous time that she shampooed me. Then the woman didn’t rinse the bottom of my hair at all and when I was finished with the rinse, I could hear the soap bubbles in my ears. I can’t see without my glasses which were off while I was getting my hair cut but I asked for a straight cut and she said that she remembered from the last time I was there because I asked her to give me the haircut that I had last time. By the time my haircut was over, she cut my hair like a man’s (I’m a woman). It was extremely short in the back and the front was even shorter than the back. When I put my glasses on and I saw that she messed up my hair, she asked if I wanted my hair shaved, which is totally bizarre, since I wanted a straight cut, to the level of my mid-neck. When I paid, they charged me an extra $5 for “styling” my hair. The styling was actually for cutting my hair extremely short in the front, which I did not ask for or want, since it made my hair look like a man’s, along with cutting it extremely short in the back. I explained that they messed up my hair, but they were totally unremorseful and insisted that I still pay an extra $5 for “styling.” I don’t recommend going to this place because they will just cut whatever way they feel like and will charge for things that you don’t ask for, even if those things mess up your hair, like mine.

I love the way my hair looked when I was done at Jackie’s. It was smooth and silky when I was done I felt so pretty, they also did not over charge me like some people. Jackie was really nice and even the products they put in my hair you can tell they love taking good care of their customers. The lady who did my hair was so nice she cut my hair so neat and perfect. I have to go get beautified soon!

Had six old school plats(box braids) the girl refused to help me take them out had a nasty attitude shoved a comb in my face and demanded that I take out the braids I got angry felt disrespected discriminated as a black woman 👩 so I left and took my 💰 elsewhere. I ride pass them 5 days a week and never thought about going back ever.This salon caters to their own race.
