The food, drinks, and service at El Che are top notch! I definitely recommend the old fashioned cocktail and the empanadas. I had the filet mignon, and it was delicious! It was definitely on par with some of the great Chicago steakhouses. I also had the sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts as sides and loved them. I was too full to even attempt the dessert menu!

Our appetizers were very good, awesome Old Fashions but some of our steaks were a complete disappointment. Two of us ordered ribeyes and both were completely different. They were tough and overcooked. I asked the waiter to confirm that mine was even a ribeye. Go for the apps & drinks!
