What a perfect grand finale to a perfect day! We came to this hidden gem of a neighborhood bar to wind down with some drinks and great food. Three years ago, at Navy Pier, we found a knit cap with the words SMALL BAR on it. We took it home, washed it, and we planned for our next trip to Chicago that we would check it out It was PERFECT! From the moment we walked in, then the customer service and the amazing food, and the extensive beer list, and the great vibe. This neighborhood spot did not disappoint! We will be back again!! #neighborhoodbarsarethebest

I'm sure it was. Bar's like this existed in Chicago neighborhood's everywhere. A lot of them have been turned into apartments or torn down. The corner entrance is a huge sign that it was some kinda store or locale waterer hole in the past.
