When the light on the side of the unit is half green and half yellow, it means that a maintenance needs to be done on the unit. Yes, however we do recommend the generator be installed in an area where water does not pool too high as it may cause damage to the unit. Our generator installations include a concrete pad that helps to raise the unit away from collecting water. The unit also has a corrosion-resistant aluminum cover for added weather resistance.
