I love this place

Very well maintained and large dog park - all grass and woodchips (no asphalt or concrete right next to the ladle front trail. There are many benches/chairs to sit on while the dogs play, trees that make for fun games of chase and the occasional squirrel spotting. Usually not too crowded, lots of space ton run around. There are trash cans, sometimes extra waste bags and water bowls though best to bring water to fill them with.

I went today and it was so disgusting. I know it’s been rainy lately but it looked and smelled like a dump. There was no way I wanted my dog to play there. I can’t imagine even when it’s dry that it would be better. Who looks after this dog friendly area? Yikes.

Fun little park for the dogs to run around and play. Don't go on a day after it rained tho, mostly mud.

Technically yes, all dogs should have a permit from their vet every year verifying that their dog is up to date with their vaccinations. But there's no one at the gate checking every dog...
Park near the Foster entrance to the beach and walk North.
