Had a furnace inspection done through Michiana and it was definitely a 5 star experience! Not only did they explain what they were doing, but they showed how every part worked within the furnace and inspected every part of the furnace. Would highly recommend!!!

Hired Michiana Mechanical to perform annual furnace maintenance on a recently purchased home. Upon arrival the technician discovered an unsafe condition in furnace and subsequently did not perform the maintenance services which had already been pre-paid for $139. They then proceeded to bill me another $99 for the technicians time to allegedly diagnose the safety issue which was literally discovered (visually) at the start of the annual maintenance by taking the panel door off of furnace and looking inside, per the technician. Nothing further was done other than taking some pictures, turning gas off to furnace, and technician writing down information to provide me with a replacement cost quote (which I never received). So, the service I paid for wasn’t performed and I was charged an additional fee for the technicians time even thought he was already slated to be there performing pre-paid work. It should’ve been a wash and I feel the way they’ve approached is extremely poor business practice and for that reason I cannot recommend nor would I use again.
