Service was fast and our waitress was very friendly. All of the items our party tried (chicken dishes and some sandwiches) were good and well-priced. The peanut butter pie and the chocolate cake desserts were both delicious and worth trying. Plenty of parking and a nice atmosphere for families.

My parents decided to stay here for the evening through Harvest Host. When we got here, I was greeted by the FRIENDLY staff and owner of the restaurant. They were so cool and I enjoyed greeting all of them. They even scratched my belly when I rolled over! My parents decided to have dinner that evening and they said that the food was great and their waitress and hostess were really nice to chat with. If my parents ever decide to come back to the Pennsylvania area in the future, I will beg for them to stay again at Rachel's Roadhouse. Thank you again for the yummy burger present. It was SO good!

Our waiter was very friendly and even shared a little history of restaurant. Food was excellent ! Ordered 1/2 fish sandwich which was huge and good & crispy. My husband got chicken Parmesan & crispy home fries.i can't forget the huge salted pretzel w chesse sauce.

There is a patio seating space with roll up doors that are usually open on warmer days with full service. There are a number of picnic benches to the side of the restaurant but those are not serviced by waitstaff.

Yes! The fireworks are on Wednesday June 27th and they start at 10pm, but parking fills up pretty quick so I'd highly recommend getting there early. My family gets there around 7:30/8 and we make a whole evening of it - sparklers, snacks, and family time.
Yes, you can get three beef or chicken tacos for $4.99 after 4 pm on Tuesdays (dine in only) at the Rachel's Roadhouse in Mercer and Kittanning.
