I recently had to use the services of iCP Repair in Midtown. I washed and dried my flash drive that contained a lot of information. To my horror, no computer in my possession recognized the drive. I downloaded various softwares that claimed to recover data. They only work when the computer can recognize the drive. My next step was to ask our IT group at work to look at it. They came up with the same result. My flash drive had physical damage (likely fried circuits) and needed to be repaired from the inside. My IT tech told me to try iCP Repair in Midtown. He told me that he has used their services before. I hesitated but finally decided to get my drive fixed. Tip 1: Do not wash and dry your flash drives. Tip 2: If you ignore tip 1, call iCP Repair in Midtown. Do not hesitate. They were knowledgeable when I discussed my dilemma. Once I gave him my damaged drive, Juan kept me in the loop on the steps he was going to take to recover my data. I am thrilled to have my spreadsheets, photos, legal documents, etc. Many of the files could not be remade since my last back up from nine months ago. Tip 3: Back up often.
