In a holiday season where the shelves might be a tad barren, Gigis Dolls and Sherryβs Teddy Bears are fully stocked with stuff from Frozen, my childhood, your childhood, your grandmotherβs childhood and maybe even her grandmotherβs childhood. And the prices are quite reasonable. I am so glad to have found this hidden gem. I came because I wasnβt to have my mother's Betsy McCall doll restored as a gift another family member. This place is amazing with rooms full of dolls, clothing, accessories, stuffed animals, etc. definitely worth a visit.

I am born in the early 50s and have storybook dolls,and other dolls do not know the name of them,I also have madam alexander dolls from the early 70s.,I have an original barbie doll with blonde pony tail and striped swimsuit with the case and Tressy her hair grows.Can I bring these in for appraisal and possibly sell them?

Varies depending on the severity of the repair, kind of doll, and what kind of repair/restoration is needed; Barbie dolls will be cheaper to repair than porcelain ones. Composition finger repair and replacements are ~$30, and hair styling/repair is ~$50, less or more depending on the condition and how complicated the 'do is.
I have had dolls repaired and I would think they would help you with the Teddy Bear. Take it in and they will evaluate it.

Hi Pat, I know they have plenty of dolls from the Gene line. Other than their used doll collections, they have most of their dolls listed on their website as well. A quick call to them should verify if they have that particular Gene doll in stock and the price. I hope this information helps!
