I've written corporate a number of times and spoken to managerment as well as other employees. Apparently customer health and safety are not top priority. I bring my own heavy metal wipes. The wipes are readily available, as is the liquid form, which i have at home. Other Illinois SPBs have the metal remover soap, and so do all other ranges I've been to. Too bad Mokena SPB doesn't care enough about customer health and safety.

If you are lucky, the guns you're interested in are also available as rentals. I don't believe they will allow you to test new guns.

Illinois requires that you posess a FOID card if you are an Illinois resident. You get one online from the Illinois Stste Police. $10 for the card, and $1 for processing. Takes 30 days to receive it in the mail (and yes, the beaurocrats make sure it takes the entire 30 days plus a few days for mail delivery). Then you're ready to shop to finally be allowed to defend yourself according to the second amendment. You find a gun, pay for it, fill out the paperwork for the state, and wait 72 hours. So if you do the paperwork and it is done at 11 AM on Monday, they will call you and tell you that your gun is ready for your pickup at 11 AM Thursday.

No, but put the Airgun in a case. You need to be extra careful because this location requires you to put all guns in cases before entering the building. You don't want to cause alarm by bringing in a airgun that could be mistaken as a real gun.

Nate is correct. In illinois, a felon cannot get a FOID, concealed carry, buy or rent a firearm. You might be allowed to be a second shooter, but have to be under the watch and control of a licensed individual. If the person with the felony is under probation, check with the probation officer, it could violate their terms of probation.

I got my ccw here so I assume they do recertification. They had a company come out for the class for fingerprints and they did not do the passport photos. That being said, staff was professional and I do recommend them.

Yes, they do. Go to any register and ask for a gift card. It can be for any amount. They also ask for the name of the recipient so in case they lose it they can look it up by name.

Yes, gift cards are available at the store or via the website. There is no current Groupon promotion available but they do run coupon ads in the local shopper papers and mailings. Email list is best for getting advance notice of sales and specials.
