Librarians are so very kind and helpful! Thank you!
Jacob “Cringelord”
Really cool place I might be incorrect, but I think you can get books here or something I'm not sure

I love all libraries!

Great library, clean and cool with working computers, etc. Staff is very helpful, they go the extra mile for their patrons. My only gripe is having to pay for print/copy/fax services, which other libraries do not charge for.

im not leaving in the area. Do i need a library card to use the conference room?
I usually recieve an email from the library letting me know if something is not able to be renewed.

Our book club is currently on hiatus, but we are planning to start up again in September. In the meantime, you can sign up for our Summer Reading Program to earn prizes! There's a reading challenge and prizes for all ages, including adults. Here's the link for more information: https://elmwoodparklibrary.org/programs-and-events/library-events/summer-reading
Yes, if you are a Chicago Public Library cardholder, you can check out our books, DVDs, and other materials on our shelves. Some materials are reserved for Elmwood Park Public Library cardholders only, including eBooks, museum passes, and items in our Beyond Books Collection. Just bring in your CPL card and photo ID so we can verify that your account is in good standing, then we can add your card into our SWAN library system.
Tons of stuff at the library for little ones. I would stop in and go to the second floor (that where youth services is located). They can talk to you about programs for kids. If Miss Carol or Miss Irene are there, they do a lot of the programming for young kids.
It depends
As many as you want.
It's nominal. When I was late with a book, it was like 15 or 20 cents per day.
