Trails are superb

Nice trails and not heavily trafficked. Good spots along the lower trail to put out a fishing pole and relax. Decently put together side trails and mountain biking trails.

There are two entrances on the Alcoa Highway side. Take the Northern one that leads to lake and parking area. The southern entrance is closed (the one that leads through a wooded area).
Takes less then 5 min to walk with fishing stuff and kids
No, no camping or swimming area.. basically a place to fish, hike, or launch a boat.
Probably not muddy water. Go to Little River in Townsend TN off Rt 321
Some are short, and there's three over 5 miles
King is part of a prominent Knoxville family whose roots in the area go back to the 18th century, when her French ancestors settled here. Her uncle I.C. King has a park named after him in South Knoxville.
