Drove here from Portland, missed their open hours so we went on to MT.,to Yellowstone. Then drove back to UT next day. Definitely went out of our way to see this shop. The place is just jam packed with anything a stitcher could ask for. I would have happily spent the rest of the cash I brought with me if it weren't for two small things. We had shared our story of coming from portland to see their shop, staff was very friendly and helpful. After about 30 min. tho, and a long drive, I asked to use the restroom. Nope. Not allowed. So I paid for the things collected so far and left. Spent about $180. BUT, had I not had to leave to drive to Walmart for the bathroom, probably would of spent the remaining 700 in cash I had planned to spend. (Had wanted to go there for years). Ok well bathroom thing partially my fault for poor planning. However, one of the kits I bought cost me $80 even though the sample on the wall above the kits said $65. The kit itself had no price on it. When I asked about this at checkout I was informed the cost of linen had gone up. WHAT? LINEN WENT UP TO WARRANT A $15 INCREASE PER ITEM? Sorry, but this excuse was unacceptable, it's not oil for craps sake! If a price increase is needed, then POST the correct price shown in the shop! This sort of backhanded thing made me feel as though I was being gouged because we were from out of town. Anyway we would have gone back to finish shopping if this hadn't happened. As it is, they lost probably at least another $500 sale that day. Not that they care with all the high volume in sales I imagien they experience. My opinion their kits etc. are a bit overpriced anyway, but I've always disregarded because I like their style. The more we thought about my trip to this store, my inclination to never purchase from them again becomes even more resolute. It's too bad, Ive been an avid purchaser since they started many years ago. Anyway, shop at your own risk I guess. Just know you are overpaying for everything you buy there and will receive no courtesy, big or small. I never got to finish looking at the fabrics or threads but my local shop has such an amazing selection I'm fine with it.

Wife loved it. She had found the shop via quilting and cross stitch shows on YouTube.

They are open 10 to 6. But I think classed Mondays. Also sometimes they close for other reasons, they put a note on the door. I drive a ways to get to them so I call first. Really good place for counted cross stitch. Has many new and classic patterns. Also other needlework available. Best place for beading supplies for cross-stitch.
