When buying an as-is property that you are not allowed to tour some issues are to be expected. However, you should be able to trust that the very short description from the wholesaler is accurate. Unfortunately, in my case it was not. The description stated that the house had new windows. Not only were the windows original from the 1970s, 3 had broken glass. I immediately told Lisa from MarketPro and the response was " sorry we didn't make much money on this house there's nothing we can do. Remind us on your next purchase and maybe we can help you out." The house also had blatant defects that were left out of the description. the biggest was that the basement had water intrusion from multiple locations with every rain storm. Maybe this type of thing should be expected but it was obvious that it was a known issue. There was a large squeegee left by the prior owner and rust stains on the floor around metal items. This should have been disclosed. If I can't trust the short description from a wholesale to be accurate then I can't see buying from them against.
