I had a great time at this place. It's a lake house out on the marina and we went fishing and everything it's a great view and the hostess was very wonderful.

Great place! We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and 2 nights in a lake front cabin. I would have given it 5 stars but the fish weren't biting real good. We did however catch enough catfish for a good family size fish fry. The rooms and cabins were clean and the staff very friendly.i will definitely be visiting again.

What a nice getaway from the city! Haborlight Marina & Resort is located on the Toledo Bend Reservoir. It is a nice and quiet campground area that has RV spaces, cabins and 8 hotel rooms. We stayed four days and three nights in the Waterfront Deluxe Cabin. Our cabin was perfect for our family with young kids. The cabin has a bunkbed (twin on top with a full on bottom), a futon sofa, two tv's (one in the main area and another in the bedroom) two queen beds, a bathroom with shower and towels/linens, and a kitchen with all the cooking items you may need while staying. The kitchen has a nicely sized fridge with freezer, coffee maker, 4 burner top stove, oven, microwave, dishes and glasses for six people and plenty of counter space too. The kitchen even had dish soap and a kitchen towel too. Outside the cabin, there is a table with four chairs and a wooden bench on the porch, a BBQ area with picnic table and a campfire area too. The porch sitting area was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon / evening wine. My kiddos were able to swim in front of the cabin too! The depth right at the edge of the lake was perfect for elementary aged children! My kiddos enjoyed exploring the campground and water. Everything was so clean and well kept! My in-laws stayed in one of the hotel rooms and said it was nice. Their room also had a small kitchen. There is also a laundry facility to use on-site, along with boats and paddle boats to rent too. When you check out the pictures of the cabins online, there are pictures of the cabins online that looked weathered and old from the outside. Don't let those pictures scare you away! In-person, the cabins have all been painted and look so much better! Reading some past reviews, it appears that there is new ownership of the property. It is entirely possible that the new owners are slowly updating the campground area and cabins. I did meet Laura (the owner) and her husband. They are both very kind people. After talking with them for a while, I could tell they are very passionate about making sure the cabins and campground area are taken care of, nice and clean for all their guests! We had a great experience and the kiddos had fun! I definitely recommend Haborlight Marina & Resort.

This is the only place you should stay at in this area. The motel rooms are a bit small but they are ALWAYS very CLEAN. Owners are super friend and happy to accommodate. I highly recommend this place for your stay out here.
