This place is a treasure trove for random building supplies you might need. They also have a store that has furniture as well as home decor... Even light fixtures! Anyone looking for any building supplies/tools check there first.

This place makes no sense. They’re charging more for recycled/second hand trim work than Lowe’s and Home Depot and they’re bought in strange mismatched bundles they made, but their charge is $5 per piece in the bundle, even if you have no use for half the bundle because they are randomly thrown together and don’t match, costing a min of $40 a bundle for maybe 2 pieces of trim that actually match. I’d rather buy it new, and only buy the pieces I need at Lowe’s, it’ll be cheaper, new and not wasteful as I have no use for the rest of the random pieces that don’t match anything.

They have a nice selection on a lot of things, just maybe not furniture.

Because the sales from these stores go to support their mission, i.e. homes for poor people.
Thank you for the information Habitat Restore. I will sign up. Thank you again.👍 To RLS1024DruidAmerican: Please note that my comment was in no way meant to be one of condemnation. My response was to so many comments regarding the store being in disarray. From my 25+ years of volunteering for a myriad of organizations, and having run a non-profit myself, that if there are short-comings, it is usually that help is needed. I am very happy that Habitat responded. I do intend to help. I am known for putting my time & energy where my mouth is. Peace & Blessings.
Thank you for considering.... We accept drop-offs Mon - Sat, 10a - 4:30p, Sun Noon - 4:30p.
They sell most things for inside your home doors 🚪 of all kinds but call 📞 and ask them things do go fast.
We are not taking paint donations at this time.
They have a large selection of doors!! And they are reasonable!!
Some of the money goes towards the Good if you will. Also, I've been to a few different Habitat stores and I've always had no problem negotiating with them for a fairer price.
Yes, we do. Please call the Donation Call Center at 248-365-4090 to schedule a free pick-up.
A lot of their stuff their selling a person there goes on line looking for similar items around the same price to price items
No. Salvation Army has new mattresses. It is illegal for stores to sell used mattresses. You can find used mattresses on Craigslist.
They will take them don't know if they will pick them up
No mask no service wipe down everything spray and sanitize items no public restroom every employee is tested and monitored everyday glass between cashiers and customers and glass one way in and out wipe down all buggy and doors cashiers wipe counter daily
This place is a resale/restore business. I'm new to Detroit so I don't.know what agency can assist you. Maybe if you call them.directly they may be able to help.
I thought I saw some there. Oh wait, it actually was tables, lamps, chairs, lumber, paint, electrical, plumbing, cabinets
St Vincent de Paul do pickup also...but are these donatable? In good condition? You could offer on Craigslist...
Can't say for sure but their are a whole section of chairs you're welcome to come by and check them out.
Sorry but I don't
Hey errybody happy 4th of July. Hope to see y'all wen Habitat opens tomorrow!
But they usually have the numbers of independent businesses who do delivery services for a fee
The toilets are relatively high quality and do, in fact, have some height to them. They are, basically, adult toilets.
Yes
Anytime they are opeb
Everything is overpriced there. The place is a complete joke and the staff are so rude.
The deals there are few and far between. I've been to a few stores and even some of the used items are almost the price of the item new.
Yes they would take it they take pretty much anything in good shape I love Habitat for Humanity I spent a lot of time in there last year I need a new light fixture over my dining room table LOL
A few days in advance
