This target is super convenient on your way to Lake Travis. Like most targets, it has a large selection across most major groups. I purchased a igloo cooler here - significantly cheaper than a convenience store!

We typically go to this target because it is usually very quiet. Today we went and we purchased a number of items and while at the checkout we noticed that the security person was standing right behind us. Literally watching every item that I scanned. My daughter asked “why is he staring at us” as we check out, and I responded that I was not sure. He continued to stare at us until we paid for items and then he casually walked off. I was not happy at all. I did mention the issue to the associate that was overseeing the self check out and she did apologize however the profiling that the security guard is doing is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I will contact the manager and, if necessary, the corporate office. The staff member in question was a tall white male with dirty blonde,curly hair working the evening shift on 5/23/2022.

Definitely one of my favorite physical stores to shop at (one can only shop so much online before you need to actually see the product). Returns are a freaking breeze and staff is always super friendly at this location. The one thing that I would say is a major negative is their prices. Specifically with electronics and home goods. I bought a network switch a while back from target, on Amazon it was $10, and at Target is was $40. However, I asked if they did price matching so I ended up getting it for $10 however, the fact that I had to ask if they did price matching is a serious problem. I can't imagine paying $40 for a 5 port unmanaged switch, someone who didn't ask if they did price matching would have gotten screwed. Frankly price matching shouldn't even be something that needs to be considered the price of the item just needs to be competitively similar to other stores or marketplaces. Digital price tags are fairly commonplace. Either automate the price tags, or have a paper tag that says make sure you price match to Amazon, or if you are shopping at Target and happen to come across this review, if you are buying anything that isn't from the Target Brand make sure that you try to price match it. I believe they do price matching on anything that's shipped and sold on Amazon.
