Host is very friendly and knowledgeable. the place is small, but I love the old beams and hand hewn posts of the cotton gin building, glowing from the years of cotton seed oil they've absorbed. The wines were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the cab blends.

We were in the neighborhood and thought we'd take the opportunity to grab a bottle of their Muscat Canelli Reserve. I buy their regular Muscat Canelli at HEB, but thought I'd get a bottle of their Reserv for comparison. I was there with my 16 year old children, and the sugn dies say that children are not allowed in their Tasting Room. However, the winery folks were not wanting to say anything, but did say they couldn't taste. I explained that they couldn't taste because they were driving! The guys there were kind, patient, easy going, humorous ... it was a great experience shopping there. They had open bottles of all 7 of their wines and were happily serving tastings. I told him we stopped specifically for the 1 bottle, and asked if they had a similarly fruity red wine. He splashed together a bit of a red with the Muscat Canelli, and it was quite delicious. If they had that bottled, I'd have bought one. All in all, it was a very pleasant short detour, and I came home with an awesome bottle of wine!

Actually popped in for wine tasting (since they were open on weekdays) while we were in town in Boerne visiting my husband’s family. Cute little winery in a converted cotton gin. You can do a little self tour then do your tastings. The man who we did our tastings with was knowledgeable and fun. Wines were good, we bought 2 bottles to take home.
