I'v never in my life have seen such horrible service. I moved to this town in February 2022 it is now almost July and I have still not received a key for my mailbox. I have to drive into town every time I want my mail and when I get there, they don't find it. I even had a tracking number for an item from eBay that says its in the post office and no one can find it. Was given the number to the supervisor "who of course" never picks up the phone. I almost feel like my mail is being kept hostage. I even receive electric notification when mail arrives but when I show up---nothing! I'm trying my best to do all my Business through FED EX and UPS because the Hazleton Post office is unreliable. Who do I have to talk to? Can I please get a key for my mailbox? But I guess this is the new norm and we have to put up with such horrible service. Let me guess? Not enough employees? And the ones that do show up are allowed to perform at their worst. Who's in charge there? No one is! I

The butch behind the counter is very rude. How can you have a people job when you’re rude. I told her you rudely interrupted me her exact words: I don’t really care. Go be a butcher ya butch

No; unless your address is changing too. Update your last name on your mailbox.
Appointments are no longer made in person or on the phone. All appointments are made at USPS.com
Yes
Not to sure but you can call in the am and find out
Yes, they will ask if you filled out a change of address card , also you can be a hold on your mail
I'm sure you would need to visit the post office and you may have to fill out a form.
Ask your mail man for address change form. Fill it out and mail it, you don't need to stamp it. You can also do it online, or at your local Post office.
Usps.com. should cost around $1.; if more, it's a scam website.
if you are not receiving mail at your new address, you need to make sure you let every company and business you associate with know that you have moved. (banks, credit cards, magazines, and so on) Si no recibe correo en su nueva dirección, debe asegurarse de informar a todas las compañías y negocios con los que se asocia que se ha mudado. (bancos, tarjetas de crédito, revistas, etc.)
nGo to the post office and have a supervisor track the package. It may have been delivered correctly; there are a lot of stolen packages this time of year.
Make your mail carrier's bosses aware of what happened. They will address the actions of their employee.
That's illegal.
You need the tracking number in order for anyone to be able to track it in any way.
Lots of times the scan says "out for delivery" when actually it means arrived at post office. When that happens, you typically receive your package the following day.
Yes
No, the office is generally recognized by the zip codes it services
