Terrible company!! Don’t expect anything to be done in a timely fashion and don’t expect to be treated fairly. I was hit by one of their insured and it has been one issue after another. They claim to be a Christian organization, I don’t believe they know what that means. If you have to deal with this insurance call a lawyer first!!

I decided to check out reviews of this insurance business after receiving notice that the current too small to be worth operating insurance agency in South Dakota that I pay premiums to (De Smet Farm Mutual) has committed to becoming affiliated with GMCC. It is my considered opinion that the two businesses deserve each other after reading the negative reviews of both. A very good picture of their customer service is clear when reading the canned, cookie-cutter, cut and paste replies they post. Both apparently engage in somewhat shady dealings, being willing to quickly accept the customers money yet being very slow to respond to claims and make any meaningful proper payout of claims. It appears that both companies are small, inadequately funded companies that will endlessly nickel and dime the consumer in efforts to avoid making sufficient payouts on claims. Another insurance company to avoid if at all possible.

I had an unfortunate accident. Goodville Mutual Insurance Group (Denise Hefflinger) was prompt and courteous. Has no issues with agent/claim. So glad my agent Jeff Wilson & Associates in Marysville, Ohio suggested this company. Thanks to all in making a bad situation tolerable.

Yes they do
If you do not have comprehensive or collision coverage on your policy, you would not be covered for the rental vehicle. We would recommend you purchase the collision damage waiver from the rental car company at the time of renting the vehicle.
NAIC# is 14044. It appears on your auto ID card.
Hi Leroy, to have insurance from Goodville Mutual you would have contacted an independent insurance agent who assessed your needs for the type of insurance you are looking for: Home, Auto, Business, etc.. The agent would walk you through a quote and find the best coverage for you. Once you have the coverage you need and are happy with the price and terms, the agent will set up your policy with Goodville, and your insurance policy would be sent to you through the mail. If you have questions about what coverage you have on your insurance policy, you should contact your insurance agent. They will be able to answer any questions you have relating to your policy and make any changes if the policy is no longer meeting your needs.
All insurance claims will require you pay a deductible. Levels of insurance, such as comprehensive vs liability only, dictate what incidences you may make claims on and what amount of damage the policy will cover.
Mrs. Grella - Thank you for reaching out. The best and most secure way for you to get answers to your insurance questions is to call your local insurance agent at (757) 874-8374. They will happy to help you. I'd love to help you right here but having an unsecured discussion online that includes your personal information is unsafe. If you can, I would suggest you remove your address and policy number form your earlier post as soon as possible and call the phone number I have provided. Or if you would prefer you can call me directly at 1-800-448-4622 and I will be glad to speak with you. - Linden in Marketing
