I have had this brewery pinned for a few years and finally took the time to check it out. We fell in love as soon as we walked inside. Big community tables, a full selection of brews, a no-nonsense and delicious menu, and board games. What a fun surprise. Located in an old fire station, they have pictures and attire hung around to honor the structure and fire company's history. We were also grateful to meet the new owner who was tapping beer and preparing our meal. I think it worked out well that it took us a little while to finally visit. I'm looking forward to returning during warmer weather as they have loads of picnic tables for outdoor seating.

Good beer. Not the greatest or friendliest service (I asked for two 10 Oz beers; was told can only have one. Fine. But they have flights I found out later. Could have suggested that seeing I was sampling; no? Or am I being too persnickety? Anyway one star taken away). Very limited food menu (I posted a picture of menu) and no internet

They couldn't be any more compliant! Until the current threat level of the COVID pandemic drops significantly, we have chosen to close the pub to the public temporarily.

Do you have Terrapin Beers on tap?

They brew their own beers and have them on tap. The PLCB laws allow them to have up to 2 additional beers on tap from other breweries and Oakbrook tries to keep it local or regional with the guest taps.
