I regret burying my father in the cemetery the upkeep is terrible I live out of town in Georgia every time I come in town and I visit my father’s grave is in poor conditions the upkeep of this cemetery is just a disgrace and so disrespectful to those that are resting in peace in this place.

My mother was recently buried at Mt. Lawn primarily because her husband, who died in 1967, is buried there. I was so busy with service arrangements that I did not have a chance to visit beforehand. I was not happy with the original assigned location, so our funeral director contacted the office. Danny, who manages the sites, was not scheduled to work that day, but was there. He immediately found a nice location and had his staff prepare the grave in less than 1 hour. Everyone, including our priest, waited patiently. I am very happy with the location of my mother’s final resting place and the responsiveness of all cemetery staff. I do believe that there is room for improvement and maybe they can assess the grave owners a small annual maintenance fee for upkeep. The one time charge for the grave has to cover a lot of expenses. Thanks again to everyone at Mt. Lawn for their help!!

My mother bought a plots in this cemetery in 1972. The cemetery is poorly kept and what I don’t understand is how they can still sell land to grieving families when they are not capable of properly taking care of the grounds. This place is a disgrace.
