Yes to all of your questions, I've been living here for about 12 yrs now, not one thing to complain or worry about.
Agreed that security officer is needed at the entry doors. It's extremely annoying when I open the door for myself and street people take advantage of me opening the door for myself, but I'm not gonna play the role of the "south village police" and tell them that they're not allowed in. That would lead to an altercation and probably put me in harm's way.

For South Village It's 62 and older. To qualify at a younger age, you need to show that you're receiving ssi or ssd.
There is a bus stop directly in front of 312 Lalor street. You will need to use the 607 bus.
