I ordered a gift for someone that was to be delivered today. I have been tracking it on the FedEx site since it shipped from overseas a week ago. The gift is already late (not the fault of FedEx), so I would like to get it asap. About 2 days ago when tracking it, it stated it needed an indirect signature. I signed for it on the tracking site and even got a confirmation email after doing so. The package was to arrive today, however I was met with a "delayed" notification that it was taken back to York (50 minutes away, one way). Upon arriving home from work, I had a note on the door that they tried to deliver it, but I need to sign the slip left on the door for delivery. Please tell me why there's an option to sign for indirect delivery online and get an email confirmation for that but FedEx still doesn't drop off the package?!? It doesn't make sense! FedEx makes it nearly impossible for anyone who works a 1st shift job to receive their packages! My husband ordered a new phone earlier in the year that required a direct signature and we were unable to get it for several days due to always being at work when they were attempting to deliver it! He signed the slip and left it on the door with a note asking them to leave the package and they wouldn't. We called about picking it up at night since it was getting close to the point of being sent back and were told there was only a short window of time till about 6 or 7PM (barely doable to be able to make it there after work) to be able to pick it up but that the delivery truck wouldn't be back to York until after then, so basically it wasn't possible for it to be picked up! Thankfully I was able to work from home a few days later and was finally able to receive the package, however, that is a rare occurrence and otherwise I feel our package would've been returned to the sender!

Terrible service. Signature required for a package. You never know when exactly package is coming. According to them Im supposed to stand outside for 12hrs waiting for the package. UPS and lots of other places give you real time location tracking so you have an idea what time the package will come on that day. Or the place will call you if they are not sure where entrance is. Nope not FedEx. They just leave. Meanwhile nearest pickup location is one hr from my house

I know if you go onto their website, you should be able to request a pick-up.
Beneficial To Go Either Way In Person Or Online Depending On How The Company Itself Is Accepting Applications , Also Good To Give A Call As To Not Waste Your Time👌🏼👍🏼

Usually... 9am - 8pm. This is standard from Tuesday to Saturday.
