This publix isn't the closest one to my house. It's not even on my.way home from work... But I will only go to their pharmacy. All of the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Monday afternoon around 1:45 I dropped a prescription at this store for 2 cold medication. The person checked the comp. And I saw her checking the medication availability. She came back and said it would be ready before 9:00 PM. 8:00 pm My husband went to pick up my meds, they said only was ready. They never called me to inform they did not have enough to give to me. Tuesday I went back and the same person said it was not ready yet. How long? I asked. She refused to tell me. Finally I lost my patience and said she could have told me they did not that one so I could have gone elsewhere. She never said a word, no sorry, and wants to charge me full price, when my ensurance info. was already in the system. I was frustrated and no one in the pharmacy seams to care. They gave me an impression they careless if they loose a costumer.

Walk-In Care is a telemedicine service available at select Publix Pharmacy locations that connects customers with a licensed healthcare professional in real time. Publix partners with hospitals around the Southeast to provide Walk-In Care, a third-party service. Walk-In Care offers treatment for non-emergency medical issues such as allergies, sinus infections, earaches, bug bites, colds, and more. Available for patients ages two and older.
