Nothing spectacular - I wish I had liked the food more because the restaurant had a nice vibe! We had the shio and tonkotsu ramen, the killer shrimp sushi roll, fried rice, and the pork gyoza. The food was good, but not great. It was honestly kind of bland, especially the sushi. I wish the ramen had more broth and less noodles. Fair prices. The staff were very nice though!!

Mike is amazing. Brenda, Maria, Aimee and the whole sushi crew are amazing at what they do and are incredibly accommodating. My go to place for months now. I can't say enough good. One in a million.

Honestly, I am really disappointed in this place. It wasn’t my first time coming it was actually my 3rd time ordering from Roc-City Ramen. The first time I ordered Ramen (Shoyu) which was really good and it was ordered through DoorDash. The second time I came in person and ordered the Carly roll and another roll that had Eel & Bacon and that’s when it got a little iffy for me. I will not say the sushi was bad but I can’t say I was the biggest fan of it either. Something about it just don’t taste the same but I can’t figure out what it is. I’m not sure if it’s the combination of flavors or the quality of the food used but I know I didn’t order from them after that until recently. My friend and I decided to try this place again, she also had an “off” experience her first time as well. We decided to try Ramen and Sushi again. I got the Shoyu and I believe she order Spicy Miso. Overall, we were disappointed. My pork pieces were small and mainly all fat and compared to the first time I had this dish and ordered it through DoorDash, it was basically subpar at best. My broth was lukewarm so my noodles wouldn’t cook all the way through because of this. The Carly sushi I had wasn’t bad but the sushi was served warmer than what I’m used to especially for it being a yellowtail based roll served fresh from the counter. I hate to give bad reviews but I did try this place three times before leaving a comment. Although I can’t fully speak on my friend’s experience I will say that she felt that she wasted $20+ dollars and should’ve went to go get pho.

I tried the tonkotsu ramen here the other week with my boyfriend and it was delicious! The owner was so kind and appreciative of our service. It made for a very nice experience. I will say though, the portion size was a little small for the cost. There was slightly less broth than I'm used to, with only a few pieces of corn instead of the expected amount. Also, the egg costs extra (I really feel like the egg should be included). My boyfriend had to eat another meal when we got home, and I ended up doing so as well. The taste was great, and the service was wonderful, so the serving size was a little disappointing. We had such a positive experience otherwise.
