We have always loved the Elmwood in for take out but tonight we took advantage of our big one get one and I am so happy it actually made us go enjoy the food while there. There was only one person running the house and she was absolutely amazing. She never showed any sign of being overwhelmed with a pretty packed place and the food was amazing. We will definitely be going back to eat in from now on.

Nice pleasant quiet mid week dinning experience. My wife and I enjoyed a quiet dinner (No music or crowd noise that drowned out your conversation). Portions were good and meal was brought out in a timely manner (no long wait). I had the Fish Fry which was good but There is stiff competition in Rochester area on Fish fry meals from other sit down restaurants. So I have to come back try some other dishes. The fries and slaw were excellent. The space is such that you can get a quiet corner or sit at the bar where all the hubbub is happening. The bar didn't intrude on the quiet spaces. Parking lot is easy to access from Mt Hope or the side street. Will be back.

I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She was awesome!!! So helpful with recommendations. The food was delish. I had the burger and salt and vinegar fries and my friend had the broiled haddock. Both were cooked perfectly and so good!!!

The food was delicious! We were grateful that you have a plant based/vegan option, the burger was delicious. My husband loved your many beer choices and I loved that you offer prosecco by the glass, small bottle! The service was super. And the place was very cozy comfortable, with warm hospitality. We loved it!!! The Elmwood Inn is very special to us since were there for our very first date back in 1987, we married 2 years later in 1989 and we came back last last night on our 33rd anniversary. We haven't been back in years but seeing the Facebook offer brought us back and we plan to make it a regular dinner spot!
