I've been going to this location since 2015 and since I moved to the Des Moines area. There are many who have been there just as long as me, new and long-staying, young and old. This is a community that is well equiped, caring, and taking care to read and speak the good news of Jesus Christ in love, truth and, righteousness found in Christ. It has 3 Services on Sunday Morning, with 800 people in overall attendance including children. The church is broken down into 10-30 person "community" groups that meet regularly throughout the week for Bible study and to actively "live life together in Christ". It has other thriving ministries including children's, college, marriage, women's, grief, counseling, discipleship, accountability, addiction, sexual addiction, identity, theology and Bible applications, and other connections with the community. (Volleyball Tournaments and other outdoor activities and family events too!) The church has many on hand to speak with or pray with (especially look for the "staff lanyards" or nametags). Most are casual dress and it has current or contemporary worship music or contemporary versions of traditional hymns (ex. NeedToBreathe Band; Hymn It Is Well With My Soul, etc.). Some do raise their hands in worship but isn't too out there. Taking notes is good! Wherever someone is, the poor, the afflicted, the ashamed, the well off, the proud, in wrong-- come, see the savior of the world and of our souls. All people have sinned before a holy and just God. His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah of Israel and the world, dying so all may know that the Triune God is Lord alone, the only way and one to follow, worthy of acknowledging, trusting, and honoring in our lives. Us willing to cast aside anything in love for the one who loved us first when we deserved death. We, having nothing to offer in return but to follow trusting and in confidence that God will do what he says. But now to live a "new life", truelly living today in a physical world, while looking forward to Christ's coming.

This is a church that really believes in equipping disciples of Jesus and following truths laid out in the Bible above all else. They love people and they love God. A great church to learn with much deeper intensity about faith and the difficult but life-giving responsibilities of a Christian. The church is structured around community groups which consist of 10-30 people that meet weekly to build each other up and do life together. Saturday and Sunday services offer opportunities for all groups to join together to worship corporately.

Biblical church, preaches the word of God faithfully. Worship music is centered on Jesus and not on me. Would recommend. They are very welcoming.
